Overview:

This JemStar model was built sparing no expense, starting with the industries custom wiring leader, 920D, this guitar delivers tone ranging from vintage Blues Strat, Tele tones, to full-on metal capabilities. This is due to the original style, custom Vai wiring from 920D - using custom 500K pots, a CRL 5-way switch, a Pure Tone jack, and Gavitt wire.

The pick-ups are GFS Boutique Professional series, and range from an under-wound, 5.5k, Alnico-5 1963 vintage single-coil, to the hotter 10k, Alnico-5, Fat-Pat in the neck, with a very hot, 16.2k, modern metal, Crunchy-Rails, in the bridge position.

• This guitar is new, with minor flaws in the clear coat which is reflected in the price here - [See pictures] - There are a few mildly cloudy spots that showed up in the clear some weeks after it was painted due to an issue with the paint product. They are, as you can see from the pictures, NOT easy to see at all unless the guitar is under lights and tilted at just the right angle.
